Trick for Word 2007 ".docx" Files (cont.). A Carlino speaks out.

So, Momma Carlino has been reading the blog and mentioned that you can download a converter app from microsoft.com. This is what she says:

"I currently have Office '03 AND '07 on my computer and was bouncing between the two when someone found a download at Microsoft.com that will let you open '07 docx files in '03. It is called the compatibility pack for 2007 Office, and though the first version you find is for windows, at the bottom of the page there is a link to Mactopia, where they have one for all you Apple fans. You download this once, and your files will all load fine without having to put in the new pain-in-the-ass version of Office (aka '07)---at least for now."

I know Ben mentioned this as option 2 but here is further proof that it works. And, maybe it would make sense to download it ahead of time and have it on hand? Just a suggestion.

Also, Momma (innocently) mentioned that the Realm Facebook page has not been updated in a long time and was wondering why our new address and move have not been documented there. Good question...
